FAQ's
1. My husband is not coming to the birth; can I bring my birthing partner instead?
Yes, this is fine. We recommend that you bring the person who will be supporting you during the labour to the relevant sessions. Your husband may wish to come along to other sessions such as baby care and feeding. We do ask that you only bring one person with you to each class.
2. I am having a Caesarean birth. Will I find the course useful?
Yes. We will talk about many other subjects other then labour that will be useful to you. We do also discuss caesarean and other medical options in the course so you will receive relevant preparation.
3. When do I need to book?
We will accept your booking at any time, however places are limited and strictly on a first come and first served basis. Most people like to book their classes by 20 weeks of pregnancy.
4. What if I go in to labour before the course began?
We aim to fit you in to a class for when you are around 32 weeks pregnant to minimise the risk of you missing your course. Should you labour before your class, this would be considered exceptional circumstances and you would be given a full refund.
